This Maca Cacao Latte utilizes maca, a superfood that naturally boosts energy without any adverse effects such as a caffeine crash or caffeine headache. Loaded with vitamins B, C, and E, maca also provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids. The nutrients in maca help to naturally boost your mental performance and clarity needed for work tasks and studying, making it the ideal caffeine-free way to get that energy boost you need.

While maca has a wide range of health benefits, it offers specific benefits to women. Maca is used to promote sexual function in both men and women; however maca helps to balance hormones in women as well as increase fertility. Maca Cacao Latte

Serves 1


1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon cacao powder

1 teaspoon maca powder

Raw honey/maple syrup to taste



 Place all ingredients into a small pot.

Heat on medium to high heat and simmer, whisking until all of the ingredients are well mixed. 

Froth the milk using a frother or by pouring the mixture into a blender and giving it a quick whirl.

Pour into a mug and enjoy!



  • Maca has a unique taste and is balanced out by the cacao in this recipe, but if you find yourself in love with the flavor of maca then feel free to take out the cacao!
  • Any kind of milk can be used in this recipe, however almond milk keeps the latte dairy free.
  • Maca can be stirred into almost any drink, from hot or cold coffees to smoothies and hot cocoa drinks!
