I had the pleasure of interviewing the Clean Bites girls and finding out more behind the scenes of the page that is always posting so many yummy recipes. The girls stated ‘between the two of us we had probably tried every fab diet out there’.
Once they discovered the Clean Eating lifestyle, for them there was no turning back. It was realistic, enjoyable, provided results and so much fun creating many delicious recipes….. and so the clean bites page was created.

What is your eating and food philosophy?
We both eat clean and choose natural foods over processed foods the majority of the time. However in no way do we eat boring food. We created Clean Bites to show you through our simple and easy recipes that clean eating can be delicious and you don’t have to miss out on your favourite foods.
For us it was important to get rid of the “diet” mentality. Healthy eating is not something you do until you reach your weight goal then go back to old habits. It needs to become a way of life and you need to adopt a healthier approach to food without restrictions or deprivation.
We also believe that life is also about balance which means enjoying the not so clean foods on occasion without feeling guilty.
With so many incredible recipes on your blog, which are your 3 favourites and why?
Banana Cake- You will be amazed at how moist this cake is and we think it tastes better than any banana bread you get from a cafe- plus its gluten, dairy free and refined sugar free.

Caramel Slice- Caramel Slice is a childhood favourite of ours and this clean version does not disappoint. It’s so easy to make as there is no baking or cooking involved.

Vanilla Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting- Who doesn’t love peanut butter? These simple cupcakes are easy to make even if you have little time. The frosting is dangerous and addictive. It might be hard to stop yourself at just one.
