I came across Cassie’s blog soon after the creation of my BareVitality blog and introduction into the online health world. I was instantly drawn to Cassie’s blog firstly because her business name (Elevate Vitality) reflected one similar to my own business and health representations. Secondly her holistic outlook on health, passion for life and beautiful online presentation made me feel inspired and right at home when visiting Elevate Vitality- an important objective I strive to make my community feel through BareVitality. Thirdly Cassie’s areas of expertise focus on issues close to my heart that I have struggled with and come across many of my clients, family and friends who have too.
Cassie runs a successful naturopathic boutique clinic in Bondi and some how still manages to have time to share her extraordinary knowledge for health and wellbeing with the online world and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
So here this beautiful lady shares with us a bit more about herself and tips on how she creates and maintains this balance.

Tea, yoga, my hubby, my hubby when he cooks me dinner (ok, and when he cleans up after!), reading, books and more reading, amazing coffee in my fave café, green juice, friends who’ve known me forever, long weekends, my family, my puppy Miso.
In your Ebook ‘Cleansed’ you include the positive affiliation ‘I love the life I lead’. Where does your passion for leading a life of optimal health and balance derive from?
I think it comes from learning and knowing what you need in life to be happy, and understanding that feeling you get when you just know you’re looking after yourself in every way possible, and looking after your body, mind and spirit.
Between your beautiful naturopathic boutique clinic, blogging, webinars, ebooks and meal plans, how do you like to fit in ‘me’ time?
This is so important to me because (as I’m constantly learning) if my own ‘cup’ – so to speak – isn’t full, then I can’t give fully to those around me. It’s an art, but one I love to work on, trying to schedule downtime and ‘me’ time. I make sure I exercise every morning, preferably yoga, then I try fit in a sneaky tea or coffee at my favourite café in Bondi. I meditate (although probably not enough!), I book in relaxing treatments like reflexology and acupuncture, and regular sessions with my own kinesiologist so I can gently remind myself to look after me!
What’s your go-to breakfast to prepare your body for a busy day ahead?
For me breaky is either egg-based or oat-based, it just depends on the weather and how I’m feeling. I love making slow-cooked porridge with a little full cream milk or almond milk, a little banana, cinnamon, stevia and almond butter. In summer I’ll make blueberry bircher muesli. If I’m craving eggs, it’s usually an egg and veggie omelette or scramble, or poached eggs on sourdough or a good gluten free toast.
Your ‘Cleansed’ program provides a simple wellness guide that also help us feel reconnected with our inner self. Why is this approach to health so essential?
When you know yourself inside and out, you’re more able to understand what it is you need in order to feel healthier, happier and more connected to all parts of your being. I also think this allows you to know your triggers – what is it that makes you feel uncomfortable, sad, disjointed etc? When you know your triggers, you’re one step closer to knowing all of you, and ensuring you’re on the right path to living the kind of life that lifts you up.
How do you like to keep active?
Yoga yoga yoga. I used to ‘dabble’ in yoga, and go a couple of times a week or a month, but in the last little while I am realising more and more that is such a necessary and beautiful part of my life. I go everyday or every second day and it just makes everything better. Even on the days that I feel wobbly and out of sorts, yoga brings me back to myself. I just love it. I also do some Pilates, and I love going for long walks. I have a gym membership so I fit in a couple of workouts a week too. But yoga is truly where it’s at for me!
Please share with us a favorite recipe?
At the moment I’m loving these Oaty Chocoalte Vitality bars on my blog.
- 1 + 1/4 cup oats
- 2 tbsp almond butter or any nut butter
- 4-5 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp raw cacao
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 3-4 tbsp protein powder
- 3 tbsp goji berries
- 1 tbsp maca powder
- Handful of pumpkin seeds or any seeds
1. Mix everything together really well.
2. Add a splash of water, a little more nut butter/coconut oil/honey if the mixture is too dry or a little more oats or even some almond meal if the mixture is too wet.
3. Press down into a brownie tin and refrigerate for 20mins before they’re ready to be sliced and enjoyed.
P.S. You could roll them into bliss balls, or even an ice-tray for bite-sized delights.
