Raw Cashew Maple Balls

The perfect delicious raw sweet treat with a cup of tea, after school snack or as a healthy dessert option.

Recipe:

1 1/2 cup raw cashews

1 1/2 cup dates (soaked for 10 minutes)

1/2 cup almond butter

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1 tbs coconut oil, melted

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup coconut flour

1 tsp vanilla extract or almond extract

2 tbs maca powder

2 tbs chia seeds

In a blender, food processor or thermomix process the cashews and dates together. Next add the almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, coconut flour, shredded coconut, extract, maca & chia seeds. Pulse for a few seconds.

Roll the mixture into small balls of your desired size and place on a plate/tray in the fridge to harden for at least 40 minutes.

Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
