Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
This is one of my favourite smoothies. Packed with fibre, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats as well as being super filling, it’s the perfect start to a day or as a snack when your starving in the afternoon.
This recipe is adapted from Abby Phon’s pumpkin smoothie recipe.
Recipe:
1/2 cup pureed pumpkin
1 1/2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 frozen banana
2 pitted dates
1 tbs of a natural yogurt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp all spice
1 tbs chia seeds
1/4 avocado (optional)
4-8 Ice cubes
Blend together all the ingredients.
