With just the last of the papaya season here is Sydney, I have for you an awesome breakfast idea to re-create the tummy friendly loved fruit.
Ultimately its as simple as scoop and top!
Creating papaya boats is not just a fantastic activity for the kids but definitely for us adults too!
Fill them up with lost of whole food goodness, take a snap and tag #barevitality and then dig in with a spoon.
Below is the recipe for my creation in the picture, however feel free to get inventive and mix and match ingredients depending on what you have available and your taste preference.
If it isn’t papaya season, you can try with a melons or pineapple.
Papaya Bowl Recipe
1 large papaya
Coconut yogurt or kefir
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Cut the papaya in half, length ways. Scoop all the seeds with a spoon out of the middle of the papaya and discard them.
Generously top the papaya with your yogurt choice. Choosing a dairy free coconut variation as a vegan option.
Then layer the strawberries across length ways, sprinkle with the granola and squeeze lime juice over the top.
Lastly add a dust of cinnamon and a drizzle of the honey.
