Macadamia Berry Smoothie
This is my Day 1 smoothie for the 4 week smoothie challenge. This smoothie is great for glowing skin, hair and nails. Also fantastic for starting a Monday with an antioxidant boost (or any day for that matter).
Recipe:
1 cup of coconut milk or almond milk or half half.
1-2 tbs macadamia oil
2/3 cup mixed berries
1 tbs chia seeds
1 scoop natural vanilla protein powder (optinal)
3-6 ice cubes (depending how thick you would like it)
Raw macadamia nuts to serve on top
Blend all the ingredients together excluding the macadamia nuts. Pour into a glass and top with the nuts.
