Cacao Easter Cubes
These Easter eggs/cubes are so so easy and a far healthier option than the typical chocolate Easter egg.
A great Easter gift that’s dairy, refined sugar & gluten free and will have your skin glowing with it high amount of antioxidants and skin nourishing properties.
I came across a version of this recipe off I Quit Sugar, however the day before grocery shopping day I was low on ingredients. Through finding inspiration within my cupboard, this is my version:
Recipe:
– 6 tbsp melted coconut oil
– 3 tbsp raw cocao powder
– 5 tbsp almond/pecan/hazelnut meal (I used pecan meal)
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
– 1 tbsp maple syrup
-About 10 raw almonds/hazelnuts (I used almonds)
Mix all ingredients together except the nuts. Scoop mixture into an ice tray, filling each cube half way. Push 1 of the roasted nuts into the middle of each. Set in the fridge or if you just cant wait to try them like me, throw them in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Once set take them out of the ice tray and cut in half for bite sized squares. Keep what you don’t eat refrigerated.
Health & beauty at its most delicious!!
