Hazelnut Choc Superfood Smoothie
Nutella was always a childhood favourite! I have memories of my sister and I sitting on the back step of our house with a jar of nutella and 2 teaspoons taking turns scooping the largest spoonful we could into our mouths.
Sugar free and full of nourishing superfood goodness, this jar of hazelnut choc delicousness is a far healthier option.
Recipe:
1 cup almond milk
2 tbs cocao powder
1 small frozen banana
1/2 handful of raw hazelnuts
1 tsp hazelnut extract
1 scoop natural brown rice protein powder
1 tbs maca powder (optional)
6-8 ice cubes
Cocao nibs, a few extra hazelnuts & heaped tbs of biodynamic yogurt to top with.
Blend all the ingredients together for 3-4 minutes (helps rehydrate the protein powder). Pour into a jar and top with extras. Sit down with your teaspoons and straws and indulge in this guilt free jar of goodness.

15/05/2014This looks awesome but is that 1/2 of one hazlenut? 1 to 2 hazlenuts? 1/2 cup?
