Breakfast smoothie

Perfect as a breakfast on the go nutrient packed smoothie in a jar or a sit down to enjoy breakfast smoothie bowl. The balance of wholesome nutrient dense super green powder, delicious grain free granola, alkalising lemon and a protein hit labels this as a positive and delicious way to start your day.



1 frozen ripe banana

1 cup milk of choice (I used almond coconut milk)

1/2 the juice of 1 lemon

1/3 cup of my deluxe gluten free chocolate granola 

1/2 -1 scoop natural protein powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1 heaped tsp super green powder

1 1/2 cups of ice

1 tsp raw honey, maple syrup or a few drops of stivia for those with a morning sweet tooth

1 tbs greek yogurt to add on top with any other toppings of choice.


Blend all the ingredients together (except the yogurt & toppings). Pour into a jar/glass/bowl and top with desired toppings. For this one I have used the granola, greek yogurt, shredded coconut, fresh banana slices, raw hazelnuts, cocao spread, and crumbled choc protein bar (recipe will be in the ebook ‘simply nourishing’).

Take time to enjoy mindfully even if you are on the run..
