Yoga boasts many benefits for the body as well as mind. It assists in the overall improvement of muscle strength, balance, coordination, muscular endurance and self awareness, while also being a practise of mindfulness and a great stress release. Yoga is useful and beneficial to everyone, from kids to the elderly. It is a great balancing form of exercise particularly if you are engaging in more higher intensity exercise styles.
There are many different types of yoga, but each type builds on a series of asanas (poses) practiced with breathe awareness. A more active and quicker pace style of yoga, incorporating a flow of asanas bringing a dance like feel to the class, to invigorate and move the body, while creating a little internal heat. These classes go for 45 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time to warm up, flow and relax around your usual busy life schedule.

A blissful and relaxing practice using a variety of poses and props, yin style to help let go of stress, assist the body to release and align. This class is designed to help quiet the mind while focusing on breathing and slow flow. This Restorative yoga class goes for 1 hour to allow you to work deep into the body’s built up tension, pain, tightness and stress. Think the benefits of a deep tissue massage, combined with a meditation class.

Our founder of BareVitality and takes yoga Wednesday’s at 9:30am and 7pm. She brings a warm and gentle approach to her classes whilst also bringing a little fire into the practise, making this Balmain yoga class unique! Her classes heat the body and flush the worries of the mind away and you’ll leave feeling like your on top of the clouds at the end!
Stef
Teaches vinyasa yoga flow class every Monday at 6:45am. She brings a fun, interactive approach to her classes. Her soft nature created a warm atmosphere. Stef’s mission in life is to help as many people as she can realise that health isn’t determined by the number on a scale that punishing yourself at the gym is going to help you with your confidence. She wants to help people approach their own health holistically as an ongoing lifestyle change rather than an end goal and enjoy the journey on the way.
Heather
Takes restorative slow flow and stretch class on Thursday night at 6:45pm. Heather guides the yoga class through a slow rejuvenating flow followed by yin style restorative stretching. This is the perfect way to wind down from the day and prepare for a good nights sleep!
